Program Description:

Binghamton University

Binghamton University

Binghamton has over 14,500 students who enjoy a broad range of course offerings. The university has earned national recognition for its strong academic programs, distinguished faculty, and talented students.

Even though it is a well-regarded research university, Binghamton feels like a smaller school because of its residential structure. Its distinctive residential colleges and communities, each housing between 800 and 1000 students, are led by tenured Faculty Masters in concert with student affairs professional staff.

The campus itself is in a suburban setting with a 117-acre nature preserve of forest and wetlands used for study and limited recreation. The campus also houses the area's largest performing arts center.

Campus Location

The campus is suburban, with the city of Binghamton about 5 miles down the road. It is about 3 1/2 hours from New York City, Buffalo, and Philadelphia, and about 90 minutes south of Syracuse.
