Chartered as one of the original "colonial colleges" by King George III in 1766 and originally named "Queen's College, Rutgers is the eighth oldest in the nation. While the University has developed into a major research and graduate studies institution, Rutgers maintains a tradition of commitment to undergraduate education. The School of Arts and Sciences is the undergraduate school for liberal arts and sciences on the Rutgers-New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. Rutgers is the largest state university in New Jersey and one of the top-ranked public universities nationwide. This list is maintained by the host NSE coordinator and is kept up-to-date. All classes taken while on an NSE exchange will transfer back as LSU credit. The LSU NSE coordinator will work with you to determine course equivalencies.
