Program Description:

Minnesota MoorheadMinnesota State University, Moorhead

Moorhead is the largest city in northwest Minnesota. With a population of more than 209,000 in Moorhead/Fargo, the area offers an exciting mix of activities including community theater, symphony orchestra, art galleries, nine golf courses and 100 city parks. MSUM is part of the Tri-College University which allows students to take one course per semester at Concordia College in Moorhead or North Dakota State in Fargo without paying additional fees.

MSUM combines a strong liberal arts foundation with innovation. Students get hands-on experience by collaborating with faculty on research and creative projects. Classes are taught by professors, not TAs, and many lead their fields in research. Unique facilities include a planetarium, outdoor science center, electronic music lab, comprehensive arts center, radio & TV station and new Wellness Center. Nationally accredited in Business, School Psychology Specialist program, music, art, chemistry, SLHS, education and social work.

Helpful Information

Students will get hands-on experience by collaborating with faculty on research and creative projects and by working at a variety of on-campus facilities. Some unique facilities include an on-campus planetarium, an outdoor science center, an electronic music lab, comprehensive arts center and television and radio stations.
